FUE-Hair transplantation

– Hair root harvesting with FUE Before hair transplantation, the patient is locally anesthetized and the head area is numbed. The hair follicles in the neck area are loosened with a special device. The better the quality of the patient’s hair grafts, the greater the success of the procedure. In the FUE technique, the extraction of the hair follicles usually takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the number of grafts, that is, from person to person.

– Opening the transplantation canals with FUE After the hair follicles have been harvested, the area is covered with a special bandage to prevent infection. Then the patient lies down on his back and the canals are opened in the area where the transplantation is to be performed using a special procedure and a special device called a micro-pen. These channels are even smaller than the tip of a needle. The tip of the micro-pen is sharp and opens extremely small channels with a diameter through which the hair follicles can pass.

– Transplantation of hair roots with FUE The hair follicles are inserted individually into the channels opened in the application area. The hair follicles should be transplanted immediately after harvesting. For this reason, we do not wait too long and the transplantation phase is initiated in a short time. The transplantation of hair follicles is completed within 2 to 4 hours, although this, as well as the removal of the follicles, varies from person to person. Since the area needs to breathe for a while after the transplantation, this area is not covered.

– Immediately after hair transplantation After these three procedures are completed, the patient is provided with various information and discharged. A few days after the procedure, the first dressing is applied. In the transplanted area, a very small punctate wound is created, which is a natural condition. These wounds heal in maximum 1 month. The patient is discharged the same day after the FUE hair transplantation, which is not a surgical procedure and is performed without incisions or sutures. No clinical rest period is required. When a hair graft is removed from the patient along with the tissue, a special dressing is applied to the area.
